Abstract
Mixed complexes of the type [Co(en)2RCONHO]2+, [Co(phen)2RCONHO]2+, [Coen(RCON.HO)2]+, [Co(NH3)4RCONHO]2+, and [Co(NH3)2(RCONHO)2]+ were prepared by substitutions of hydroxamates RCOHNO- (R = C6H5, C2H5, CH3) with [Co(en)2CO3]+, [CoH2O(en)2OH]2+, cis-[CoCl2(en)2]+ in the form of a paste, [Co(NH3)6]3+ in the presence of active charcoal, and by oxidation of a solution of Co(II) and the corresponding ligands.
