Abstract

The time dependence of mean current densities after a step change in the concentration of a depolarizer on the surface of a working electrode was found by solving the equation of the convective diffusion in the Couette flow with anomalous wall effects. The theory is used for determining the velocity profile in the vicinity of the electrode surface.
