Abstract
Some new drugs containing both azo sulfonamide and 8-hydroxyquinoline moieties have been prepared. Some metal chelates with Fe3+, Co2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, and Hg2+ ions have been synthesized and screened in vitro for their antibacterial activity.
