Abstract
Thin films of perfluorosulphonated polymer were obtained by dissolving a Nafion 117 membrane in N,N-dimethylacetamide or hexamethylphosphoric triamide and subsequent evaporation of the solution. These films can be used as a medium for IR spectroscopy in the range 4 000-1 300 cm-1, suitable for retention and identification of cations. Spectra of cations in polymer cationic forms (NH4+, MenNH3-n+, EtnNH3-n+) and of some allylammonium cations were studied.
